Rob: Liking both Marvin Gaye and Art Garfunkel is like supporting both the Israelis and the Palestinians. Laura: No, it’s really not, Rob. You know why? Because Marvin Gaye and Art Garfunkel make pop records. Rob: Made. Made. Marvin Gaye is dead. His father shot him.
I’ve reluctantly come to the conclusion that I am every character in this movie.  EVERY SINGLE ONE.  Well, except Ian/Ray as played by Tim Robbins.  Nobody wants to be that guy.

I love Nick Hornby. …I love this movie a little more than the novel. Same with ‘About a Boy’.
Sofia Coppola did the same thing for me with Jeffrey Eugenides.

I could never love someone that didn’t love this movie.
